Traffic Alert: Work Will Cause Closures on I-35 and I-435

Work Will Cause Lane Closures on I-35 as part of the PleasantValley Interchange Project

CLAY COUNTY – Crews will close the left lanes of northbound and southbound I-35 between Bryant St. and Pleasant Valley Rd. beginning 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15 and continuing through Sunday, Oct. 18 for mill and fill work.

This is all part of an effort to improve Interstate 35 from Vivion Rd. to Pleasant Valley Rd., including the Pleasant Valley Interchange, Church Rd., Sobbie Rd., Pleasant Valley Rd. and US 69. All work is weather dependent.

The Missouri Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey warning signs and use caution when driving through work zones.

Drain Pipe Installation Will Cause Ramp Closure in Clay County

Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-435 to northbound I-35 from 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 through 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 for drain pipe installation work. All work is weather dependent.

Alternate route: Motorists should continue on northbound I-435 to eastbound Route 152 and back to I-35 for detour route.
