The Northland News

Factoids:

What is it? The Northland News is a free hyperlocal online magazine that covers Clay County, Missouri.

Who is behind it? This site was founded by Andrew Palmer.

What type of content do you publish? From city council meetings and new businesses to neighborhood events and those making a substantive impact in the community, TheNorthlandNews.com is the place for you to connect with your community.

Why create this resource? Much of our local news is owned by large media companies that are not connected well to our community. There is a lot that happens in Clay County, and we intend to fill the gaps where some of the other news sources are coming short. We believe in the importance of small business. Because of this, we intend to serve our small business advertisers by giving them affordable advertising that helps their businesses grow.
