faith-academy-tower-gardenKansas City, MO – – Councilwoman Heather Hall along with Councilpersons Scott Wagner, Dan Fowler, Katheryn Shields, Lee Barnes, Jr. and Alissia Canady contributed to Faith Academy’s first Aquaponic Tower Garden.

On Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, Councilwoman Hall presented a check and spoke with Faith Academy faculty, board members and students about the many benefits of starting the tower garden.

The students have been planting, caring for, and producing food from an outdoor garden. The tower garden can be used year round and the students will benefit by eating healthy foods. Also, the garden will help those in need in the community.

“We are indeed grateful to you for your enthusiastic support, commitment and dedication to Faith Academy,” said Dr. Donna L. Houpe, Executive Administrator. Faith Academy is located at 4300 N. Corrington Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64117.
