The Club at MariMack to Join the Clay County Sheriff’s Department for the #22PushUpChallenge in #KearneyMO

A brief note from one of our sponsors…

A 2013 Department of Veteran Affairs report said there were about 22 veteran suicides every day. Recently, that number was slightly adjusted down to 20 days.

Many remember the Ice Bucket Challenge that went viral online. There’s a new challenge that has made a similar wake across the digital waters.

An organization called 22Kill created the 22 Push-Up challenge with the intent of creating awareness to the large amount of Veteran suicides.

Starting this week the Clay County Sheriff’s Department has joined the mission appearing somewhere in the Northland issuing challenges to other public service organizations.

The Club at MariMack has invited the Clay County Sheriff’s Department out to complete their next 22 Push-Up Challenge on the grounds of the golf course this Friday morning at 9:00 AM. The Club at MariMack would like to challenge the Kearney community to join us as we help raise awareness to this important topic. Meet us out at the Club Friday morning if you want to join in.

The Club at MariMack is located at 525 S. MariMack Dr. in Kearney, MO. You can visit their website at www.clubatmarimack.com.
