Community Invited to Discuss Route 10 Pavement Improvement Project in Excelsior Springs

Route 10 Excelsior Springs CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 regarding the design of pavement and sidewalk improvements between Route 69 to East Fork Fishing River Bridge. The open-house style meeting will be held at The Hall of Waters conference room at 201 East Broadway, Excelsior Springs, Mo.

At this meeting, community members will have the opportunity to learn about this project which consist of repairing and resurfacing roadways, paving shoulders, rebuilding existing sidewalks, repairing median curbs, replacing deteriorated curb and gutters, wall repairs, Crown Hill Road signal upgrades, adding pedestrian crossings and adding a pedestrian warning light at the Veterans Memorial Drive crossing.

Participants at the public meeting will be able to ask questions and offer comments with project planners and engineers. No formal presentation will be given.
