Fundraiser to Benefit Kearney Teenager that is Battling Rare Cancer

Dalton Hanna, 15 of Kearney, MO, was diagnosed in July 2014 with DSRCT (Desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor).  DSCRT is an aggressive and rare cancer that primarily occurs as masses in the abdomen.

Dalton should be a sophomore at Kearney High School right now but instead is in the fight of his life. He has not been able to attend school since the last day of 7th grade.

A group of local women led by Hanna’s seventh grade science teacher, Chrissy Nutter, are putting on a dinner and quarter auction fundraiser on Friday, April 28th to support the Hanna family.

Numerous members of the Kearney, Missouri community have donated There will be something there for everyone – golf, oil changes, car detailing, massages, jewelry, Royals tickets, and so much more!

The fundraiser will be held at Kearney Junior High. Dinner is from 6-7 pm. Hamburgers or Pizza for $5. Quarter Auction starts at 7 pm. Paddles to have a number for bidding are $5. Bring lots of quarters for item bidding!
