Grand Opening and Open House of Veteran’s Outreach Center

Kansas City, MO – – The Veterans Community Project will host a Grand Opening and Open House for their new Veterans Outreach Center located at 8900 Troost Avenue, KCMO on Thursday, March 30  at 10 AM.  The Veterans Community Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, on a mission to eliminate Veteran homelessness by providing transitional-housing and services for area veterans.

In addition to the opening of the Outreach Center, the VCP will partner with the KCATA to offer FREE bus passes to KC area veterans.  KCATA will be onsite to showcase the Honoring Veterans Bus.  Passes will be distributed beginning March 30.

VCP President, Chris Stout says of the bus pass program, “This partnership to offer free bus passes will mean our veterans will have improved access to jobs, housing and healthcare.”

Kansas City Councilwomen Teresa Loar and Heather Hall are both extremely committed to serving VCP and KC area vets who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
