The auctioneer is Jeff Cates of Cates Auction & Realty Co., Inc. Vocal auction offerings include a San Francisco Get-Away with airline tickets and a chauffeured wine tour, a Side of Beef, Meierotto’s Jewelry and Disney Tickets.
NSC provides essential services at no cost to older adults in the northland in partnership with its 50 community organizations as well as faith-based organizations. NSC makes a huge difference in the lives of 60+ adults who live in Clay and Platte Counties, helping them thrive in the community and maintain their dignity, continued productivity and independence as long as they are able. The northland is one of the most rapidly growing locations in the state of Missouri for these adults.
Among its essential services, NSC provides a health and benefits support team, care calls, friendly visitors, minor home repairs and transportation to medical appointments. NSC also offers excellent programs to stimulate the mind, body and/or soul, including Adventures in Learning, BreakTime Club, Healthy Lifestyle Classes, Just 4 Fun Tours and more. NSC provides a meaningful outlet for its 300+ volunteers (often older adults themselves) to offer approximately 52,000 hours of service to nearly 3,350 clients annually. NSC also keeps volunteers and clients informed and connected through a bimonthly newsletter, an informative website and Facebook page.
