Traffic Alert: Nighttime Pavement Marking and Striping Work Will Cause Lane Closures on Highway 69

Road Traffic ConstructionPLATTE/CLAY COUNTIES – Crews will intermittently close one lane of northbound and southbound Highway 69 between Route AA in Platte County to McCleary Rd. in Clay County from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily now through Friday, October 2 for pavement marking and striping work. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times except for brief intervals to move construction equipment. All work is weather dependent.

The Missouri Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey warning signs and use caution when driving through work zones.
